Pets of the Practice

I recognize the unique role that pets play in our lives. Pets often play an especially meaningful role in the lives of queer, neurodivergent, childfree, and childless folks. I think pets are an amazing model for unconditional love and acceptance. I can't wait to meet yours, but in the meantime here is a bit about my two cats, who may show up to visit during our sessions together.

Franklin

Franklin is the oldest cat in the family, and the boss of the house. He is a lapcat who loves his scratches, but only on his terms. He is not to be picked up or moved, but he will come to you if you are patient. He acts a bit aloof but underneath that facade is a loyal companion and a true friend.

Mina

Mina is the younger of the two, and is a high-energy pick-me cat who never really aged out of kittenhood. She is bubbly, approachable, and loves attention from family and strangers alike.

Foster Cats

For many years, I fostered cats as well. I've put a pause on that project for now, but I have taken in and found homes for many adorable kittens in my life. Here are just a few.
